CREATE may appear to be a collection of recipes, BUT I don’t cook in the traditional sense of the word. Even the word “recipe” feels restrictive and limiting. Every time I enter my kitchen — my culinary atelier — all of the elements I use to create from the ingredients to the pots, pans, knives, utensils, range and oven become my media. The serving plates are my canvas upon which I present my creations. From initial concept to plated art, the entire process is a journey of imagination and exploration. For me, the experience brings a sense of elation and euphoria, a form of transcendence embracing complete freedom.
I want to bring you into my world and show you how enriching my approach to cooking can be. You can be a culinary artist if you simply embrace your imagination as your guide. If you can imagine, you can create. Your only limitation is your imagination. Join me in this journey of exploration, self-discovery and creation.
